Neither, really. It’s a cashback reward, paid separately by Three UK’s official rewards partner once your Three account is active and your first bill has cleared. There’s no code to enter at checkout – you just have to reach three.co.uk via the referral link so the tracker is in place.
Yes. Three’s referral partner, Aklamio is a Berlin-based fintech that’s been running referral programmes since 2012 – they handle rewards for Three, Vodafone, and dozens of other European telcos. Payouts arrive via UK bank transfer or PayPal.
You need to be new to Three UK (no active Three contract in the last 12 months), 18+, a UK resident with a UK address, and able to pass a standard credit check. Pay As You Go and Business plans aren’t eligible.
3 to 8 weeks from your Three activation date. Three waits for confirmation that your first bill has been paid – that’s the event that triggers the payout. You’ll get an email when it’s ready to claim, then you withdraw manually.
No. Zero cost to claim, no minimum withdrawal threshold, no monthly fees. The referral link doesn’t affect the price of your Three plan – you pay whatever Three’s normal advertised price is.
No and trying to do so will get your £40 rejected. Once you click the referral link, don’t open any cashback / voucher / comparison site before you finish the Three checkout. Their cookies overwrite the ones from Three. Three’s £40 through this website is usually the higher anyway.
The reward is voided. Three allows a 14-day free-cancellation window, but Three only pays out once your first bill has cleared. Cancel inside 14 days and there’s no first bill – so no reward.
No code entry. The referral is tracked entirely by cookies once you click through the referral link. That’s why step 1 (clicking the link) is non-negotiable and step 3 (avoiding cashback-site cookies) matters so much.
