Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 28 November, and if you’re planning to switch to Three UK — or upgrade an existing plan — the two weeks around that weekend are almost certainly the cheapest window of the year to sign up.
This guide covers what Three has done in previous Black Friday events, what to expect this year, and how to add an extra £40 cashback on top of Three’s own deals by signing up through a referral link. We’ll update the page as Three announces actual 2026 offers.
Quick answer: Three’s Black Friday deals typically start around 20 November and run for about two weeks. How to claim:
There’s no minimum threshold, no vouchers, no e-money card. Just cashback.
Important: Three sometimes shows different prices to first-time visitors vs returning customers. If you’ve been on Three’s site earlier in the day comparing tariffs, clear your browser cookies before clicking our referral link — otherwise the referral may not track and you won’t earn the cashback.
Based on historical Black Friday pricing, the three tiers most worth targeting are:
Usually drops to £8/month during Black Friday. Add £20 cashback = effective first-year cost of £76 (or ~£6.30/month). If you’re a light-to-medium data user, this is the best value on the UK market during the sale window.
Historically drops to £24/month with the £5 off promotion. Add £40 cashback = effective first-year cost of £248 (or ~£20.67/month). Uncontended, no phone line required, faster than most fibre packages under £30.
Usually £14–£16/month during Black Friday. Add £20 cashback. Essentially free replacement for home broadband if you have decent 5G coverage.
Is Three UK’s Black Friday sale online-only?
No. Three’s high-street stores also run the sale, but the exact deals differ. Online tends to have the biggest SIM-Only and Broadband cuts; stores tend to have better phone contract bundles because you can trade in a device in person.
Can I claim the £40 cashback if I’m upgrading rather than switching?
Only if you’re a new customer to Three at the time of sign-up. Upgrades on an existing Three account don’t qualify. If you’re currently on Three, you’d need to leave and rejoin — usually not worth it unless you’re near end-of-contract.
When does the £40 cashback actually arrive?
After Three’s qualifying period completes (typically 30 days after activation). Aklamio releases payout to your PayPal or UK bank within 3–5 business days after that.
