How threesaver.co.uk makes money – and why that doesn’t affect your £40. Last updated 2 September 2026.

The short version: threesaver earns a small commission from Aklamio when readers use our Three UK referral link to sign up. It doesn’t reduce your £40, it doesn’t add to your Three UK bill, and it doesn’t influence what we tell you about the offer.

How the money flows

1. You click the referral link on this site.
2. Aklamio’s tracking cookie is set on your browser.
3. You sign up to a qualifying Three UK plan.
4. Three UK pays Aklamio a referral fee for delivering a new customer.
5. Aklamio splits that fee – a portion to you (£40 for Pay Monthly Phone or Home Broadband, £20 for SIM-Only) and a portion to threesaver as the referring publisher.

Your £40 and our commission are both funded by Three UK’s marketing budget, not by you. Your Three UK contract price is exactly the same whether you use our referral link or go directly to three.co.uk.

What this means for the content on this site

We only recommend the Three UK referral because we’ve used it ourselves and can vouch for how it works. We disclose that we earn a commission on every page that carries the referral link, per ASA CAP Code 2.4 and CMA hidden-advertising guidance.

Where we describe Aklamio’s rejection reasons, payout times, or common pitfalls, we do it because they’re accurate – even where that means telling you the offer might not suit you. If a Three UK plan isn’t right for your situation, we’d rather you don’t sign up than have you regret it later.

The referral link, in full

Every outbound button that lands on Aklamio uses rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" per Google’s affiliate-link guidance. The link itself is https://aklam.io/fCrfBuXl – Guy Darbyshire’s personal Aklamio referral URL.

Independence

threesaver is not owned, controlled, or paid by Three UK, Aklamio, or any of their agencies. We hold no shares in either company. Aklamio has no editorial input, no advance approval, no take-down rights over anything published here. We are not covered by, and do not participate in, Three UK’s official retail affiliate programme.
