threesaver.co.uk is a personal site owned and operated by Guy Darbyshire (“I”, “me”, “we”, “threesaver”). This policy describes what personal data the site collects, why, and what your rights are under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Guy Darbyshire is the data controller for personal data collected via this site. To contact the controller, use the contact form.
Contact form. If you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, topic, and message content you provide. This is used solely to reply to your enquiry.
Server access logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) records standard web-server logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent – for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. Retained for up to 30 days.
Analytics. If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site traffic. GA4 uses cookies to distinguish returning visitors and anonymises IP addresses by default. No personal identifiers are collected.
Search Console. Google Search Console shows us which queries lead visitors to threesaver. This data is aggregated and anonymous.
Third-party referral tracking. When you click the Three UK referral button, you are redirected to Aklamio (aklam.io) and then to Three UK (three.co.uk). Aklamio sets its own tracking cookie so it can credit the referral to us. That cookie is set and controlled by Aklamio, not by threesaver – read Aklamio’s privacy policy for details.
We use the minimum cookies needed to run the site. Strictly necessary cookies (session, security, cache) are set without consent. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them via the consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time via the banner’s “Cookie settings” link.
Contact-form data – legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Server logs – legitimate interest in operating a secure site. Analytics – consent. You can withdraw consent for analytics at any time.
Contact-form messages: kept for up to 12 months after our last reply, then deleted. Server access logs: 30 days. Google Analytics: default retention (14 months). Search Console: 16 months per Google’s retention policy.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with (1) our hosting provider (Hostinger, EU-based), (2) Google (analytics and Search Console), and (3) Aklamio, but only when you actively click through the referral link. No advertising networks. No lead brokers.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to (a) access the personal data we hold about you, (b) request correction, (c) request deletion, (d) object to processing, and (e) complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Send any request via the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.
This site is aimed at UK adults 18 or over. Three UK requires customers to be 18+, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be dated at the top of the page. The current version is dated 31 August 2026.
